I know you’ve all heard all the complaints from the Major Record Labels and their subsidiaries, especially from the RIAA [Recording Industry Association of America] that represents them, saying that because of the Internet and all the illegal free downloads associated with it, plus piracy, etc., that “… sales have gone way down.”

 I don’t know if all of you observe yourselves as intensely as I do. I make all attempts to look at myself in the mirror and I often don’t like what I see. I’ve come to learn that what I don’t like about myself often motivates me to change.

The Holiday Season is here once again. A time for family and friends. It's also a time for you. Take a moment to ask yourself some heartfelt questions about your life and career. How are you feeling on each level of your life. How do you feel about you, your children if you have any, your spouse and over all relationships. We cannot an should not expect every aspect of our lives to run smoothly.

How do I thank all of you for supporting Music Talks? It's been such an evolution! Giving thanks or better yet, being thankful is such an important part of life. It moves people and life its self.

I was reading the comments from the enough is enough, damn it article and by the way. John M., owner of M-PIRE Recording Studio, a beautiful recording studio in Los Angeles added a comment that I fully agree with. But at the same time, it fueled me on another subject that frankly just pisses me off! 

Who hasn’t been there as a musician… struggling and taking on everything we can to try to make music pay our bills. It’s too easy to get caught up in a million projects and still barely move forward.
